COVID-19 Protocol for the 2021 Stickley Competition & Festival
Waiver
All performers must read and sign a COVID waiver form and submit it electronically to Dr. Mary Rose Norell at or bring the hard copy to the competition
Sanitation
Performance and warm-up pianos will be sanitized after each performance
Students will sanitize their hands before and after performing
Face Coverings
Masks required for all participants and audience members
Limiting Physical contact
Audience inside performance room restricted to the following:
(1) Performer
(1) Parent
(1) Teacher of performing student
(1) Room monitor
(3) Judges
One Warm-up keyboard will be provided on a scheduled basis for a brief warmup before performance time
Participating teachers must send PDFs of the competition repertoire to Dr. Mary Rose Norell at by Friday, February 19
There will be no in-person announcement of competition results
Winners and Honorable Mention will be notified by phone call
Competition results will be posted on Facebook and SBAMTA website
Families may wait inside the building if needed but are asked to limit time in the building wherever possible
Self-Screening
Any performers who develop symptoms close to the event or who are under quarantine are asked to notify Prof. Ketevan Badridze at 574-621-0115 or email at from the Stickley competition and stay at home
